Air Force Museum - Memorial Park
Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio

   On 7 September 2000, the Association dedicated a Memorial Plaque at the USAF Museum Memorial Park. The Plaque, dedicated to all AFOSI members, was conceived by Walt Carey, Chair of the Wright Patterson Chapter, and funded from contributions by a number of Association members. It was designed by an Associatiion member.
   The Plaque is affixed to a Memorial Wall at the Park as depicted in this photograph.
   Some 400+ plaques and other memorials are in place. Many may be viewed at the Virtual Memorial Park.

  The dedication ceremony was a function of the 2000 AFOSISA Cincinnati Convention. In attendance were ca. 103 AFOSISA and AFOSI people. The Plaque was presented to the USAF Museum by Brigadier General Francis X Taylor, AFOSI/CC, and accepted by the Museum Director, Major General Charles D Metcalf, USAF (Ret). It will be maintained by the Museum in perpetuity in memory of all AFOSI personnel.
